Stop 1

Sarangkot is located west of Pokhara. The village on top of Sarangkot mountain is the place you should be going for, at an altitude of 1600m. It’s one of the best places in Nepal to see the sunsets surrounded by forests and hills, overlooking the Annapurna range. Sarangkot is especially famous for Sunrise, Sunset and Majestic mountain view including the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and many more small peaks. This is also the starting point of paragliding.

At 09:00 AM: After breakfast, You will take a drive to Sarangkot. It will take 30-45 minutes to reach the paragliding spot from the Lakeside. After reaching there we will enjoy the view from the top of the hill and then we will take a brief class before paragliding.

2

At 11:30 AM: After paragliding, you will land at the Lakeside. You will drive to Paragliding office where you will meet your guide. You will also take your paragliding photos and videos.

3

You will hike for 1 hour depending upon your pace to reach World Peace Pagoda. Situated at Ananda Hill, Peace Stupa was built by Nipponzan-Myohoji. Shanti literally means Peace in Nepal thus names ‘Shanti Stupa’ in Nepalese language. Out of 80 world peace pagodas in the world, two of them are in Nepal, one being the World Peace Stupa in Pokhara. Hiking to world peace pagoda Pokhara not only offers the wide panoramic mountain view of Annapurna, Dhawalagiri and Mt. Fishtail but also provides a top view of Phewa Lake and Pokhara City. Patale Chhango or Hell’s Falls in Pokhara has accumulated many different names over the years. It is also known as Devi’s Falls, David’s Falls, Devin Falls and Devis Falls. The name might take on different forms, but the sight remains the same. It is an area that is known for its beauty and tranquillity, and the legend of the Devis Falls adds a touch of mystery and adventure to this sight. The water that feeds the Devis Falls comes from the Fewa Lake, which follows a rocky stream and then rushes down to the waterfall. The water ultimately disappears after hide-and-seek for 5 long kilometres.

The cave is said to be have been discovered in the 16th century. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout. The largest of these shrines is dedicated to Shiva. There is lighting but it's only a series of small light bulbs. While primarily a religious site, the cow is a statue over a Shiva lingam. It's being developed as a tourist attraction these days. Continuing on the 40 or so meters down the cave passing other small statues and shrines you'll come across the main Shiva temple which has a strict rule about no photography. Continue on past the temple to the second part of the cave which is about 140 meters in length. Here the walls open up and you can see some nice colors in the cave walls. Further again and you'll come across a metal staircase leading downwards. You'll hear the waterfall ahead from here. Once you have descended the staircase you will have to walk across some uneven rocky ground until you get to an area with a view of the waterfall.

After Visiting the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and David's Falls you will drive to your hotel.
