About this experience
Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Rosário or more commonly known as Sanctuary of Fatima, is located 120 kilometers from Lisbon and is considered one of the Largest Marian Sanctuaries in the Catholic World, a place of manifestation of peace.
Its two basilicas, the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, built in the 20th century in a more conservative way, where today the bodies of the three little shepherds are buried, Francisco and Jacinta who died as children and also Lúcia de Jesus, who died already in 2005, in Santíssima Trindade, a Basilica of contemporary architecture, and even more interesting and older, the “Capelinha das Aparições”.
