Fátima is a place of religion, but also faith, and its energy does not leave anyone indifferent, regardless of their beliefs. In this sanctuary, you will have the chance of visiting the exact place where the Virgin Mary appeared to the three little shepherds. After visiting the main chapel, we will continue our tour through the two basilicas, and the main square.

The Chapel of the Apparitions is a small chapel located in Cova da Iria, constructed in the 1920s, to mark the exact place where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Portugal

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary is the main temple of the Sanctuary of Fatima. It was consecrated to the Marian invocation presented by Our Lady during her apparitions in 1917. It also hosts the tumbles of the three little shepherds

The Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity is the latest temple built in the complex of the Sanctuary of Fatima.

On the Way of the Cross in Fátima, you will find a chapel and a Calvary offered by Hungarian Catholics that took refuge in Portugal after the soviet invasion

Here, we will visit the main church of the Monastery of Saint Mary of the Victory. This gothic style abbey was erected in the 14th century to celebrate the victory in the Battle of Aljubarrota, against the Spanish army.

The highest point of the city, with a beautiful panoramic view of the beach and the whole region. Here you can also find fisherwomen wearing the traditional costume of the village.

The Fort of Saint Michael the Archangel, with a lighthouse incorporated, is nowadays used as a museum for the big waves.

Over the extensive coastline of Nazaré beach we'll have the chance to view the Dry Fish and Fishing Boats Museum of Nazaré, a living museum whose main purpose consists of preserving this ancestral tradition.
