What you'll see
Your tour begins when your guide picks you up from your hotel and then heads to the Lima historic downtown, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With your private guide, visit the historical center of Lima and see its main landmarks. Head to Parque de la Exposicion, the Palace of Justice (Palacio de Justicia) and Plaza San Martin. You will also see the famous Plaza de Armas, which is also called Plaza Mayor. Here, you will walk around and learn about its importance and history.
Then, you will visit the Monastery of San Francisco and its church. You will explore the catacombs which were discovered in 1943 and where a burial site in the 1800s. End the tour heading back to your hotel and visiting some of following locations depending on where are staying: The Bridge of Sighs (if you are staying in Miraflores), Olivar Park (if you are staying in San Isidro) or El Parque del Amor (if you are staying in Miraflores).
