Detailed itinerary

1

Our tour will start with exploring three beautiful marine gems well renowned in Malta. These are Golden Bay, Riviera Bay and Gnejna Bay. We will also proceed to visit a fourth gem, the Bay of Fomm ir-Rih. While also endowed with pleasant coastal and landscape scenery, this bay is more secluded and less popular than the first three bays.

First, we will stop at Golden Bay which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Malta. A short 10-minute walk amid lovely countryside and scenic views overlooking Golden Bay will take us to the historic Watch Tower of Ghajn Tuffieha.

Here we will take panoramic photos of the neighbouring sandy beach of Riviera which is quieter and less commercialised than Golden Bay. From the historic Tower, we will make our way to Riviera Bay and walk for a few meters until we will reach a breathtaking spot with amazing views overlooking Gnejna Bay.

2

Next, we will head to Fomm Ir-Rih Bay. The views of the secluded beach of Fomm Ir-Rih are absolutely picturesque, especially on a beautiful sunny day!

3

The two popular towns of Rabat and Mdina in the South West of Malta are next on our agenda. Mdina is a small town fortified by tall bastion fortifications. The medieval town of Mdina is abundant in history and has withstood the test of time. A visit to Mdina surreally makes its visitors feels like history has come to life and they are transported back in time! We will also take some time to visit places shown in the Game of Thrones film!

4

Rabat which is literally on Mdina`s doorstep is our next destination. Rabat portrays Malta`s character, lifestyle and cuisine and offers a number of points of interest such as museums, catacombs, train rides across town, souvenir shops, artisanal displays, cafeterias. We will also ake some relaxing leisure time around the historic town.

5

We will next head to the majestic Dingli Cliffs. First, we will visit the 17th Century Chapel of Mary Magdalene and later enjoy the scenic towering cliffs marking Malta`s highest point.

6

We will proceed to walk circa 20 minutes from Dingli Cliffs to Fawwara Valley where we will pass through lush Maltese countryside avoiding tarmac roads and the hustle and bustle of the commercial world.

7

We will then head towards Ghar Lapsi boasting of a lovely cove with clear waters. Here scenic sunsets are typical and we will take some great shots awaiting the sun to set in the background.
