Craigdarroch Castle is a historic castle located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was built between 1883 and 1890 by Robert Dunsmuir, a coal magnate. The castle is an example of Scottish Baronial architecture and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Victoria.

The castle is built on a 30-acre (12 ha) plot of land atop Rockland Hill, on the east side of the city. The main building is four stories high and has 39 rooms, as well as several ancillary rooms. The castle is made of red sandstone and has a 72-foot (22-meter) high tower.

The interior of the castle is richly decorated with wood, marble and stained glass. The rooms are furnished with period furniture and there is a collection of art and antiques. The castle also has a library, a music room and a dining room.

Craigdarroch Castle is open to the public for tours.

The Royal British Columbia Museum (RBCM) is a natural and cultural history museum located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest museum in the province and one of the most important in Canada. The museum has a collection of more than 7 million artifacts representing the natural and cultural history of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.

The RBCM was founded in 1886 as the British Columbia Provincial Museum. The museum moved to its current location in Inland Victoria Park in 1967. The museum has expanded several times since then and currently occupies a 10-story building.

The RBCM has a variety of exhibits that explore the natural and cultural history of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.

Fort Rodd Hill was built in 1895 to protect the port of Esquimalt from possible attack by the United States. The fort was never attacked, but it remained active until 1956.
