It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Rhodes!

Join us on this GOLDEN TOUR of Rhodes and cover all the main highlights of Rhodes town and the beautiful white village of Lindos. Tour along Rhodes’ beautiful East coast and discover its rich history and beauty.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Old Town in Rhodes and the area where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Then you will walk through the ancient Acropolis of Rhodes. After that, we will continue on the East coast of the island and reach the traditional white village of Lindos, 50km away. You will have more than 1 hour stay to explore it and visit the beautiful Acropolis on the top, which is the second most popular Acropolis in Greece after the Parthenon in Athens. Then we will return back to our starting point.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We will drive you to the D'Amboise Gate of the Old Town in Rhodes - the biggest inhabited medieval town in Europe. It was built in 1300s from the knights of the order of St. John. The Medieval Town of Rhodes is inscribed in the World Heritage Sites List of UNESCO.
You will have 1 hour to explore on your own the Medieval city and take your photos outside the magnificent Grand Master Palace and the Knights' Street.

During our stop at the Old town you will be able to take your photos outside the magnificent Grand Master Palace

Walk through the perfectly preserved Street of the Knights of St. John and feel the magic of the Medieval atmosphere

Stop 4

Mandraki port is situated in the new part of the town where you will see some very impressive monumental buildings built by the Italians. Here at the harbour entrance is believed that once stood the great statue of the Colossus of Rhodes - one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.

We will stop for pictures of the area.

The Church of the Annunciation in Rhodes is the biggest Orthodox church in the town with very beautiful handmade paintings on the walls and spectacular chandeliers.

Stop 6

Once we reach Monthe Smith Hill you will enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the city and the seashore, and also visit the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the impressive open-air ancient Stadium and the Amphitheatre.

We will pass by the popular resort of Faliraki and scenic drive on the East Coast towards the beautiful village of Lindos

Stop 8

Little before we reach the beautiful traditional village of Lindos your driver will stop you at a place for a fantastic panoramic view of the village together with its Acropolis on the top. After that, we will leave you at the main entrance of the village. You will have at least 1 and a half hours to explore it and of course, visit its famous Acropolis. The driver will wait for you at the exact place he left you.

Stop 9

The Acropolis in Lindos is the second most popular Acropolis in Greece after the Parthenon in Athens. It was built on a steep rock 116 meters height overlooking the Blue Sea and the village of Lindos below. The Acropolis is dominated by the massive temple of Athena Lindia, dating from the 4th century and it attained its final form in around 300 BC.

Stop 10

A stop at the picturesque St. Paul's Bay is also included. It is claimed that St Paul landed here in the year 51 AD to preach Christianity to the Rhodians. There is a small church built there after his name. We will make a stop for pictures to capture this stunning view.
