This Blue cave is one of the largest caves on Lustica Peninsula. Its called the Blue Cave because the way how the lights hits the sandy bottom and reflects up through the 6 meters deep water, and makes the all cave to look blue. You will want so bad to swimm here, because its a unforgetable experience.
Near the village Rose, there are 3 submarine tunnels, which were build by Yugoslav navy army. There are around 100 meters going deep into the hill, and they are all connected with small tunnels. They were designed yo stealthily host submarines and smaller war ships.
Your boat will come close to private island Mamula, which was used as a Austro-Hungarian millitary fort, and during the World War II it was concentration camp, from where nobody ever escaped.
