Tarangire National Park is popular for having the largest number of elephants per square foot as well as baobab trees. With its beautiful scenery proximity this park is usually assigned with the northern circuit itinerary along with other national parks like Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The elephants fill this park like cattle while the lions roam the grassland plains looking for their prey. Due to water scarcity most animals in the summer would be found along the riverbed digging for water. It is close to Arusha town making ideal for a day visit.
Your driver/tour guide will pick you up from your hotel preferably very early in the morning and drive you to Tarangire. You will have a 4X4 car for your tour, mineral water and a lunch box for your enjoyment. Once we arrive in Tarangire the driver will collect our permit for the visit and start the game drive promptly. Plenty of game viewing opportunities due to the large amount of wildlife in this park. At noon the driver will find a picnic site where you can stop to relax and eat your lunch. After lunch the game drive will resume and at this point will try to see most of the remaining animals. At the end of the day we will conclude our tour and drive back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
