We start our tour by transferring you from Nafplion to Olympia.
Our first stop is a visit to the ancient stadium where the Olympic Games took place. Here, we will also explore the sanctuary of Zeus, which housed one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, a 13.5 meter golden statue of the god, made by Phidias.
Continuing on our tour, we will then visit the archaeological museum, where we will see outstanding findings of over 400 exhibits and see the amazing Hermes of Praxiteles. We will walk through the beautiful surrounding areas with beautiful buildings and temples that depict the beauty, harmony and balance of ancient Greek art.
At the end of the tour, we will have free time to enjoy a coffee or a meal at the nearby local cafes and restaurants. Our tour finishes with our return transfer to Nafplion.

The grandeur of the ancient Greek culture unfolds in Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. We will first visit the ancient Stadium, built before the 6th century BC, where the Games took place.
Our next stop is the Sanctuary of Zeus, built in 470 BC, which is the largest temple in the Peloponnese. The temple housed ine of the seven wonders of the ancient world, a 13.5 meter golden statue of the god, made by Phidias.
We continue the tour to the archaeological museum of Anc. Olympia, with more than 400 exhibits, dated from the prehistoric period to the 5th century AD. We will have a complete understanding of the historical development and admire how Olympia was an inexhaustible source of culture and spirit in ancient Greece.
In the end of our tour we will stroll through the ancient city, where we will see buildings and temples that depict the beauty, harmony and balance in ancient Greek art.
