Visit the Convent of Christ (Convento de Cristo), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Portugal's most important historical monuments. Then take a leisurely stroll through Tomar's historic center. Admire the charming cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and colorful buildings adorned with azulejos (traditional Portuguese tiles). And don't miss the Pegões Aqueduct, an impressive 16th-century aqueduct that supplied water to the Convent of Christ.
