About this experience

Port Dickson began history as a small Malay village inhabited by fishermen and traders. It was originally called 'Arang'; named after a local coal mine. During the colonial era, a British official named Sir Frederic Dickson turned Arang (Charcoal) into a port for transporting the rich tin ore deposits. The town was renamed Port Dickson (after the official) and became a busy, railway-linked harbor.
Just an hour away from Kuala Lumpur, Port Dickson has a lot of places to see and is a favorite among Malaysians who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With magnificent sea views and plenty of tourist attractions, Port Dickson is home to 18km stretches of beautiful beaches and plenty of interesting places to visit. Mangrove walk at Pantai Cahaya
The cape also links to a small mangrove island called 'Pulau Burung' by a wooden bridge, although visitors may stroll there on foot at low tide. A boardwalk on the island leads to a platform where a watchtower provides a panoramic view of PD's coastline. Some of the popular activities here include water sports, boating, fishing, camping and berbeques.

PD World Marina is a popular fishing spot for local anglers. Try your luck in catching a fish while sipping cold beverages under the trees.
The highlight of this trip would be the sunset cruise along the popular and historical Straits of Melaka. Enjoy the cool light breeze while watching the sun go down.

If you are going to indulge in any water sport activities ie jet ski and banana boat, you are required to wear a life jacket. This activity is provided by third party vendors that do not have any affiliation to our company. Please be informed that you will be solely responsible by engaging in this activity and we will be free from any liabilities.

We will provide Fishing Rods and bait if you wish to fish at PD World Marina.
