About this experience

May-November .Meet your driver-guide at your hotel from Brasov in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car ,and you will go by car for about 40 minutes in the forests around Brasov .

As you travel, gain fascinating insights into the brown bears, hearing how they can grow to enormous sizes, with some males reaching up to 770 pounds (350 kgs). Learn about their lives in the wild, and how their sharp sense of smell is vital in ensuring their survival.

We will meet with the Rangeer who will show us the rules that we have to respect in the habitat of the bears.Then we will walk about 20 minutes or with a jeep to the observatory . Here we will see the brown bears in their environment. We will photograph males, females with chickens and their interaction.

We will definitely, 100%, see bears.

After about two hours, we leave the observer, we will return to the van.You will be left in Brasov at your hotel.

In Romania we have the largest brown bear population in Europe, about half of this population (6000 bears) live in Romania. For about 2 hours we will be standing with brown bears in the Transylvanian forests. Rangers accompanied by deep in the forest and in an observer we will see the free bears in their natural environment. We will see adults, females with cubs and their struggle for survival in the natural and wild environment.

We'll be able to see deer, foxes and wild boars
