Your tour begins by entering the walled city via D’ Amboise Gate. Walk over the impressive moat and come at the 14 th century Grand Masters palace. A visit for up-close photos of the imposing site and nearby monuments. Then stroll down the cobbled Street of Knights and exit the Medieval town to continue in your vehicle .

Next up, a ride along the esplanade at Mandraki, the principal harbor of Rhodes. At this location according to historians, Colossus was erected in 292 B.C. A gigantic statue dedicated to God Helios, designated as one of the seven wonders of ancient times . A mixture of varied architect styles dominating the area is the island’s legacy of the Italian ruling . Marvel at the splendid temple of San Giovanni as well as the iconic Rhodian deers guarding the entrance of the port.

Subsequently , turn on the windward coast and gaze at turquoise & azure colors blend in the sea. From Mount Smith , the highest point of the city , take in the spectacular views covering the expanse of the Aegean sea.

In Lindos you have free time for approximately one hour to browse in the narrow alleys for shopping & refreshments. Also , you may opt to walk up to the top of the cliff and visit the 6th B.C. Acropolis of Lindos. Thus, you can admire firsthand , the sanctuary of Lindian Athena the Doric Stoa & Propylaean ruins.
