Lopes Mendes is probably the most well-known beach of Ilha Grande, mainly because it is considered by many, including tour's magazines and travel websites, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Planet surely it deserts its fame, but the best thing about hiking to Lopes Mendes is the journey we have to get there.
On this adventure, you can look forward to getting very close to nature with possible wildlife encounters, refreshing water streams, pristine beaches and exuberant scenery.
Reaching Lopes Mendes is just the cherry on the cake of this challenging but rewarding hike.
The experience last between 6-8 hrs and the hiking takes approximately 2:30h-3:30h depending on your pace; the hike requires constant effort and good mobility.
