About this experience

Discover two of Transylvania's biggest attractions, Bran Castle and the Bear Sanctuary. We will visit the largest brown bear sanctuary in the world, learn more about the incredible creatures, and know more about the medieval castle from Bran.
The famous Bran Castle, the former military defensive fortification of Transylvania, being the border of the country and later on changed to be a royal holiday castle. Discover why the castle is linked with Dracula and follow the narrow paths from the interior to find out all his mysteries.

We will bear watch at Bear Sanctuary, here time of 1 hour our guide will introduce us to the over 100 residents of the place and each of their unique stories.
We will watch the bears as they roam in their spacious enclosures, climbing trees and taking dips in pools will make you feel extraordinary. These bears come from bleak backgrounds, thanks to the efforts of the sanctuary, they are now able to enjoy normal, happy lives. From the front of the sanctuary, we will have a great 360 degrees panorama which reveals the superb views of Bucegi Mountain and Piatra Craiului Mountains.

Bran Castle is also known as “Dracula’s Castle”. The astonishing well preserved gothic castle got its fame from the novel “Dracula”, written by Bram Stoker, and the Dracula movie due later directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
The medieval structure was built in 1377 to safeguard the trading route between Transylvania and Wallachia, enlarged and restored a few times to become a royal residence in the 1920s under Queen Marie of Romania.
At the final, we have time to take some souvenirs just outside of the castle, where you can find gifts and local handmade things of wool and wood for you and your friends.
