The Furnas Valley is a stunning destination, rich in lush nature and unique geological phenomena. The tour begins in the parish of Furnas and takes us toward Furnas Lake, where we’ll explore lake shore trails. Along the way, we’ll visit the famous hot springs and see the “holes” in the ground where locals, along with some restaurants, cook the traditional "Cozido" and other local dishes. Cycling around the lake offers a chance to admire exotic vegetation and picturesque scenery. We’ll also pass by the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias, where our guide will share the fascinating history behind it.
One of our stops includes the Pico dos Milhos viewpoint, offering a panoramic view of the entire Furnas Valley. As we continue through the parish, we’ll visit several other points of interest, including more hot spring locations.
