In the famous treasury, the New Green Vault reflected in the glitter of gold and silver, the glitter of thousands of gems pomp and artistry of the Saxon Electors. Join us on a journey through the centuries.

See first-hand the absolute excellence of European craftsmanship - well-known pieces such as the cherry stone with 185 faces, the Golden Coffee Kit, the centerpiece of the great mogul Aureng-Zeb u.v.m waiting to be discovered.

The fascination of Ottoman culture will enchant you in the Turkish Camber: the Sultan's sublime pomp and tabernacle, magnificent saddles and bridles on life-size horses, and the most precious and dangerous weapons that brought fear and terror to Europe's armies in the hands of the Janissaries.

These include the Türckische Cammer, The Giant Hall, The Electoral Wardrobe - Power and Fashion, On the way to the Electoral Power, worldview and knowledge around 1600. During our castle tour we take a look in one or the other exhibition. With the entrance ticket included in the price, you can stay in the Residenzschloss for the whole day (eg after the tour to climb the Hausmannsturm).

Meeting point

Meeting point: at 1:30 p.m. in the Dresden Residential Palace, from the Georgbrunnen in the small courtyard (meeting point B of the palace), near the entrance to the museum shop towards the inner courtyard. You can recognize the small castle courtyard by the modern dome. The checkout area of the SKD is also located there.
