Detailed itinerary

Our delegate will pick up you from your hotel in Marsa Alam at about 10:00 pm. After pick-up from your hotel, drive to Luxor and start your journey in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Relax in comfort as you travel to explore the most important historical monuments in Luxor.

Upon arrival in Luxor in the early morning, a representative will greet you and take you to a cafe to try some local tea. You’ll then enjoy a hot air balloon ride for 30 : 45 minutes to watch the sun come up over the archaeological sites of Luxor.

Stop 3

Next, head to the west bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings. Here you will explore the 3 most important tombs and see the walls full of hieroglyphs.

Your guide will then take you to the most important temple of the complex, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. The temple consists of three floors with open balconies built of limestone, with statues of the god Osiris and Queen Hatshepsut.

Then, you will visit the Valley of the Workers (Deir el-Medina). This is the place where the workmen of the royal tombs used to live. Here you will see the Temple of Deir el-Medina, which was dedicated to the goddess Hathor. This is the only temple in all of Egypt where you can admire carvings of the Final Judgement. At every site, you will get information from your Egyptologist tour guide and you will get free time to explore the ancient monuments by yourself.

Next, See the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon, then stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

You’ll then head to the east bank to visit the biggest temple in Luxor, It's the Karnak Temple. dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Next, move on to Luxor temple. Built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the modern kingdom, the beautiful temple was completed by Ramses II

Finally, you’ll then be transferred to your hotel again in Marsa Alam
