We'll drive by the tallest building in downtown Medellin on ur way to Plaza Botero

Stop 4

The second stop is in Downtown Medellin, where you will be mesmerized by the magnificent sculptures of maestro Fernando Botero, one of the world's most renowned sculptors. Bring a decent camera, our guides have all taken photography courses and will be delighted to take postcard perfect images of you embracing these larger than life sculptures for your memories. From here we continue on foot to really feel the vibe of the downtown area and experience old colonial churches, plazas, the stunning cultural palace, and much more!

After visiting plaza Botero, we'll continue on foot to really feel the vibe of the downtown have your camera ready to take amazing photos of the stunning cultural palace Rafael Uribe Uribe a neo gothic building constructed around 1912 in downtown. This building was used as the government palace up to 1987. Ask your tour guide to walk inside if you want to explore this building even further

From the cultural palace we'll walk to La Veracruz church. This church was one of the first ones constructed in downtown with a beautiful colonial style.

We'll continue on foot to feel the vibes of the Parque Berrio park. Learn the history of this important area in downtown.

Walk inside this magnificent colonial style minor basilica located in the heart of downtown. This minor basilica was the most prominent from Colonial times and up to the late 1970's when this downtown area was the main business district.

Next, we jump on board the Metro and metro cable (aerial cable car) which was constructed for the purpose of alleviating traffic, improving overall city transport and accommodating citizens, enabling them to enjoy connectivity from their respective barrios to the metro, and other means of transport. This sturdy and well maintained cable car will take us to our next destination, the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood. You have the option of getting off here for a short walk to the lookout point where you can see local street art and meet the local kids that we sponsor through our foundation lend me a hand. If you want the upgrade option to Arvi's park with the cable car ride that hovers over the magnificent forest of Arvi Park, please be aware that there is an additional cost since the tour will be extended for an extra hour and a half to two hours. At the end of the tour our guests will be dropped off at their hotel or place of stay in the same comfortable vehicle.
