This half-day hike includes a great time to disconnect you from the noise and stresful of the city, to encounter with nature, with nice farming people, and enjoy a suitable hike designed for young and adult people.
Thanks to the strong Spanish influence today Characato district is a great reference of pride as known as "Los Characatos".
Why to hike in Characato? por que este lugar fue el primer asentamiento para los conquistadores españoles (June 24, 1541). Considered the first spanairs town in Arequipa region.
