El volcan Misti (5825M) is only 23KM northeast of Arequipa as known as the white city of Peru – Our company provide this alternative trek for adventure people looking for trekking to one base camp on the slopes of an active volcano – Trekking Volcan Misti includes very nice landscaped of upper zone, villages and countryside contrast around Arequipa.
This short trek on the slope of volcan Misti is available every day - The uphill trek is no technical but hard thank to altitude and everything depends of physical condition of each participants to get as high as possible in 3Hrs as maximum time. This trek is recommended to do in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset over Arequipa but just during dry season (April to Dec.) but during raining epoch will be better to try in the morning.
Welcome to an active volcano as known as simbol of Arequipa people and try your skill hiking on high altitude.

El Misti volcano (5825M) haves symmetrical cone of considerable scenic beauty, is located in southern Peru near of Arequipa city, the second largest city in the country, lies at the foot of El Misti in a fertile valley located 2400M above sea level. El Misti is a Quechua name, means the gentleman. El Misti volcano stands at 5825M and lies between Mountain Chachani (6070M) and the Pichu Pichu Peak (5664M), these impressive mountains, located northeast of Arequipa, are visible almost year-round, but especially during winter (April-December).
This volcano offer great opportunity for trekkers and climbers lovers..
