Paracas is a national reserve located in the south of Lima, in there is located the “Ballestas Islands” where we will have contact with sea lions, amazing birdlife and tiny penguins, the atmosphere is great with big variety of birds which will involve you in the meantime you are visiting the islands by boat.
A tour guide from our company and our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel after driving 3 and a half hours you should be in the Chaco’s port in Pisco town, then we will help you to take a boat to visit the Ballestas Islands
After this excursion into the Ballestas islands your tour guide will take you to visit the impressive sand dunes and the oasis called Huacachina where sandboarding is waiting for us. This tour is both thrilling and beautiful, transporting you at high speeds deep into the desert to see the huge sand dunes on the coast. These mountains of sand are beautiful and surreal. And adventurous travelers are welcome to try sandboarding down the dunes

Upon arrival in Paracas around 7:30 a.m, head straight to the Paracas dock to catch the first boat of the day to the Ballestas Islands, also known as the Mini Galapagos. Tour the islands with your guide to learn about the ecosystem and native wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, and more.
Then, continue to the city of Ica and a winery. Enjoy lunch at the winery with a signature chica morada, or traditional non-alcoholic drink made from purple corn. Here we will practice sandboard and learn more about the history of Huacachina Oasis
After lunch, drive to the Oasis of Huacachina, where you can take a sand buggy or a sandboard through the dunes of Ica. Take pictures and enjoy the sunset view during free time.
Return to your hotel in Lima by roughly 8 p.m.
On our way back to Lima city, we will stop for lunch, we can have traditional options and vegeterian options too.
