Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

8:30 AM - Your adventure begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned bus ride from Saigon to My Tho, a charming city on the banks of the Mekong River.

Morning - Upon arrival in My Tho, our first stop is the serene Vinh Trang Temple, a beautiful blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian architectural styles. After exploring the temple, we’ll board a motorboat and begin our cruise along the Mekong River. As we glide across the water, you’ll have the chance to witness the unique sight of floating houses, where locals farm fish right beneath their homes.

2

Our river journey continues to Cồn Thới Sơn, also known as Unicorn Island. Here, we’ll take a scenic electric cart ride to a local performance site, where you can enjoy the soulful sounds of traditional Vietnamese music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử). This folk art form, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, will be accompanied by a tasting of delicious seasonal tropical fruits.

Next, we’ll experience the tranquil beauty of the Mekong Delta on a small hand-rowed boat, slowly cruising through a peaceful creek lined with lush, overhanging coconut trees. Along the way, you’ll get a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people living along the creek.

3

Midday - Before lunch, we’ll visit a local bee-keeping farm, where you can sample honey tea and see a traditional Mekong house. Afterward, we’ll take a short walk to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch featuring regional specialties.

Afternoon - After lunch, we’ll continue our journey by motorboat to a workshop where you’ll learn about the fascinating process of making coconut candies, a local delicacy. You’ll even have the chance to taste these sweet treats fresh from the workshop.

3:00 PM - With the memories of the day’s experiences, we’ll board the bus and head back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving by approximately 5:00 PM.
