At sunset we start our trip to the inner valley of Elqui, by crossing the San Isidro town, we will get The Mamalluca Amateur Observatory, this special place permits to make direct observations of the universe.

Detailed itinerary

The tour visit is at the Mamalluca Observatory. There we will learn to identify constellations, planets and stars through manual telescopes with the coordination of astronomical guides.

Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the sky through a high-tech telescope inside the main dome of the observatory.
Finally, we will return to La Serena.
