About this experience

We will visit the most picturesque places of this great Valley, which surrounds us with mysticism and relaxation. We will visit the Puclaro Reservoir, Vicuña and its attractions. We will know in a pisquera factory the process of the distillation of the grape. Lunch will take place in a typical restaurant of the place. We will continue the route to Paihuano, we will make a stop at the viewpoint, to go later to Monte Grande. Pisco Elqui is the last town on this circuit, a small town with narrow streets and adobe houses, where the place's square and a beautiful water fountain stand out, with figures of children; the village church and crafts centers typical of the place, welcome us and say goodbye to this tour.

What you'll see

This activity is a full-day tour. Our agency picks you up at your accommodation between 08:30 and 09:00 am. to visit Pisco Elqui as a final destination, inside the Elqui Valley.
We start by visiting

Puclaro Reservoir:
Photographic point with water from the mountain thaws that are collected to ensure irrigation for agriculture. We can walk, visit its craft fair. (Maximum stay time 45 minutes).

City of Vicuña:
Vicuña Astronomical capital and birthplace of the Poet Gabriela Mistral. In this place we visit the town of artisans of the city, memorable icons such as the Immaculate Conception Church, Bauer Tower and Gabriela Mistral Museum will make us know the life and work of this Chilean Woman Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. (Maximum visit time 1 hour).

Pisco Museum:
On the way to Peralillo, we find a famous pisco center, which invites us to visit the pisco museum, along with its entire history and then visit its sales room. (45 minutes maximum)

Local Restaurant:
We take a break from our tour to go to lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy delicacies prepared with the love of the Elqui Valley.

Paihuano Valley:
Leaving our lunch, our next destination will be the viewpoint of the Paihuano valley, where the colors of the hills and the various plantations give us a magical setting inside the Elqui Valley, our stop is around 5 to 10 minutes to get to our penultimate destination, Monte Grande.

Great mountain:
The visit to Monte Grande focuses on the visit to the Monument erected to the poet with her students, an important photographic point on the route that we will be in this place for a period of time (25 minutes maximum).

Pisco Elqui:
It is the most touristy town in the entire valley. Prepared to receive a large number of national and foreign tourists who are attracted by the magical scenery that exists in the town. Restaurants, craft fair, accommodations, camping and many attractions are found in this striking place. (Maximum stay time is one hour)
