Detailed itinerary

1

There is a observation deck where you can admire the beautiful view of the Kanmon Strait. You can also purchase Kyushu and Shimonoseki special products here.

2

Akiyoshido Cave - One of the largest limestone caves in the Orient, located at the foot of Akiyoshidai Mountain (about an hour and a half, including lunch time, free time). Please pay for lunch and admission tickets on your own.

Akiyoshido Cave, a Natural Monument, is 10.7 kilometers in length. It is the second-longest and one of the largest limestone caves in Japan. It is located 100 meters underground in Akiyoshidai National Park.

There is a one-kilometer sightseeing route set inside. Because it is a limestone cave, it is cool all year round with a temperature of 17 degrees. It is very comfortable here, even in summer and winter. The cave has many stalagmites, stalactites, and terraced fields formed by massive limestone formations. These are valuable geological specimens.

Akiyoshido Cave was formed over a million years ago. You can sense the long history of the earth and the beauty of the incredible nature here. Please explore this mysterious underground world at your own pace!

3

Motonosumi shrine was once selected by CNN as one of the most beautiful places in Japan. Motonosumi Shrine, located in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, has an endless torii tunnel. These 123 red torii extend all the way along the hillside to the cliff edge, creating a magnificent landscape with the blue sky, green land, and blue ocean.

When visiting a shrine, people typically make offerings. However, offering money at Motonosumi Shrine is not easy. The offering box is set on a torii that is 6 meters above the ground. It can be said that investing money into this box is the most challenging in Japan. Successful investors are truly lucky and their wishes have a positive outcome.

The breathtaking view of Ryugunoshiofukidai.

4

The Tsunoshima Bridge, which is frequently featured in TV commercials, is one of the most beautiful bridges in Japan.

The Tsunoshima Bridge is accessible to motor vehicles for passage. The 1,780-meter-long bridge spans the blue sea. The beauty of the bridge and the blue sea in harmony is truly remarkable!
