We start the day picking up travelers at their hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, Chorrillos or Surco, on the west side of the Pan American Highway to head to the spectacular Chilca Desert, located 2 hours south of Lima. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the coast and the vast sand that awaits.
Along the way, we make a short stop at the artisan bakeries of Santa Maria or Chilca, where you can taste local products and make use of hygienic services.
Then, we continue the journey to the Chilca Desert, making a stop to lower the tire pressure and enter the desert safely.
From there, we start the crossing through the dunes, traveling a predetermined circuit in the soft off-road style until we reach the sandboarding area.
At this location, we use three tiered hills for sandboarding lessons, starting with the smallest and proceeding to the longest and steepest. Customers enjoy about two hours of activity in the dunes.
Afterwards, we head to the picnic area, which offers a panoramic view of the desert and the sea. There, a low table is set up with the picnic box-lunch, where customers can enjoy approximately 45 minutes of rest and food.
After picking up the logistics of the picnic, we leave the desert and return to Lima, leaving the customers at the same pickup point.
