The Venetian port of Heraklion is located in the heart of the city, and it is one of the most picturesque settings in the capital city of Crete.
As we depart we will have an undisturbed view to the Venetian arsenalis ,the Venetian shipyards the amazing Port with the old city.

Stop 2 Pass by

Roca a Mare or Casstello del molo the jewell of Heraklion city, build by the Venetians in the 16th c. While aboard we have a side by side view to the Castello, or Rocca a Mare (Fort of the Sea). We will pass by and you will admire the emblem of the Republic of Venice, the lion sculpture on white marble, the famous winged lion of St. Mark.
