The trip leaves from Simon’s Town Waterfront passing the Naval Harbor to Boulder’s Beach to see the penguins. If the tide is favorable.
After the Sea Kayaking, we will make our way to Cape Point, where you will explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. You will see the Dias and Vasco Da Gama beacons, with a ninety percent chance of seeing baboons, bontebok, eland, ostriches, dassies, etc. Take your iconic photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board.
We then explore the Cape Point lighthouse. Choose an easy short 15 minutes walk to the lighthouse or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular (R80.00 per adult). We recommend a lunch break here at either the Two Oceans Restaurant for a sit-down lunch or the informal eatery for a take away.
Our return route is via the Old Cape Road, through Chapmans Peak drive (if it is operational) with a stop at the viewpoint, and along the Atlantic Seaboard via Camps Bay.
