Shortly after pick up at your accommodation at 9:00 AM by a private tour guide/driver in a private vehicle, we head off on an all-inclusive, full-day Cape Winelands tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, known as the American Express Wine Route of South Africa.

Follow the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine route in all its splendour.

You’ll enjoy wine tasting at up to 4 carefully selected award-winning wine estates, all of which wine tasting fees are included, and will also enjoy a main course lunch at one of these award-winning wine farms.

Arriving in Stellenbosch, we will enjoy a town orientation tour. Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa and home to more than 200 award-winning wine estates.

Stop 3

Our first wine-tasting stop will be at the Delaire Graff Wine Estate. Known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands, Delaire Graff is not only famous for its award-winning wines, but also for it spectacular views and Instagram moment photo opportunities. Here you will taste 5 premium wines from a choice of 6 wines. Your guide will help you capture the most beautiful Instagram photos. Delaire Graff is a luxury and modern wine estate.

From the Delaire Graff wine estate, we will drive for 5 minutes to Tokara Wine Estate. Here we will taste up to 4 carefully selected Premium Wines. Tokara is a luxury and modern wine estate.

Next, we drive for 20 minutes to Delheim Wine Estate. We will enjoy a main course lunch with premium wine tasting at Delheim Garden Restaurant overlooking the lush green gardens. Choose your main course meal from a selection of meat, poultry, fish or vegetarian options. Kindly note that only the main course is included in our tour price for only guests who booked and pay for the wine and lunch option and may not exceed R275,00 per person. Should you exceed this amount the additional cost will be for your own account. Additional Wines, Soft Drinks and/or any other courses from the menu are additional and for your own account.

Should Delheim Estate be closed for any reason, wine tasting and lunch will be enjoyed at Muratie Wine Estate, one of the oldest wine estates in the country, which has been producing award-winning wines for more than 300 years.

The tour proceeds with a wine-tasting stop at one of the most popular wine-tasting destinations in the Cape Winelands, known as Fairview Wine Estate. Here we will taste up to 6 types of wines paired with 6 carefully selected types of cheese, ranging from red and white cultivars.

An optional stop will be on offer in front of the Drakenstein Correctional Centre (formerly Victor Verster Prison) to take a photo with the Nelson Mandela monument.

Our tour ends off with a drive through the town of Franschhoek, known as the food and wine capital of South Africa. It is home to some of the finest restaurants and wine estates in the country.

We return to Cape Town for drop-off at your accommodation in Cape Town.
