Detailed itinerary

After pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town we will travel for approximately 2.5-hours to Gansbaai, where we will come face-to-face with the Great White Shark in its natural habitat. You exact pick up time will be communicated to you the day before the tour, but is usually 6:00am.

Upon our arrival in Gansbaai, you will receive a briefing of the adventure whilst enjoying a light breakfast. (We recommend that visitors request a pre-packed breakfast from their accommodation.) Following our briefing we will charter a shared boat and set sail on the open seas for an exciting 3 hours of shark cage diving.

During this time the crew members will engage the sharks to swim close to the boat so that you can have a close-up view. Please note that all diving gear and equipment are included in the adventure. (Please bring your own towel.) Once the experience has come to an end we will return to the shore, where there will be warm showers and fresh towels available. We will watch the day's events on a DVD television screen and receive our diving adventure certificates. These DVDs will be available to purchase.

Stop 3

After this thrilling experience, we will travel back towards Cape Town with a stop at Stony Point Penguins Colony to view the African Penguins. Stony Point is home to one of the largest Penguins Colonies in Africa.

Our return route is via the scenic R44 coastal route with a stop at the viewpoint for photos. Upon our return to Cape Town you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
