About this experience

Angkor Wat is the complex and largest religious structure in the world. After that, we will visit Ta Prohm or Tomb Raider temple. It is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple.

After Lunch, we will Visit Ta Nei, a small and quite temple before we head to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, one of the most photograph spot in Angkor Park. We'll continue to Bayon, a 216-smilling face temple that is in the center of Angkor Thom. We will visit some of the most famous temples in Angkor Thom. We'll stop by to see Baphuon - a 3-tier Pyramid Shape temple, the Terrace of Elephants and the Leper King. Finally, we will go to Phnom Bakhen mountain and climb up to the top to see a gorgeous sunset.

When the tour has finished we'll drop you back to your hotel or any other location in Siem Reap town.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we’ll visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.

Stop 2

It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Prohm on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie "Tomb Raider".

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes - 1 hour

( Meals : food can be cost rank from 5USD per dish which depend on the food you order form menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples.

Ta Nei is a small & quite temples with less restoration yet, surrounded by big trees.

Angkor Thom. At first we will stop by visit the Victory gate of Angkor Thom then we continue to Bayon temple.

It’s the highlight temple in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara

we walk to the next temple nearby called Baphuon which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.

Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.

Elephant & Leper King Terrace , still within the complex of Angkor Thom.

The Terrace of the Leper King is another platform located nearby on the north side of Terrace of Elephants.

Last temple of the tour we go to climb up the hill Phnom Bakheng for waiting to see sunset view.
Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at the peak on Phnom Bakheng , if it is busy we will take you to climb up Phnom Bakheng a bit earlier and you can take a bit longer waiting for sunset ( Note : Waiting & see sunset will take 1.45 hours - 2 hours )
