Palmela is a small but important village located in a great natural elevation. Its geography has attracted almost every form of civilization known in Europe since pre-historic times. From the Moorish Castle, you can see the Tejo’s Estuary, Lisboa’s Castle, Setúbal’s Castle, Sado’s Estuary, Sesimbra’s Castle and Sintra’s Palácio da Pena. On this tour we will visit the Castle and Palmela's historic center.

Setubal, set between the Sado’s river estuary, the Arrábida’s Natural Park Mountains, and the Atlantic Ocean, grew up from a typical fisherman’s harbor town into an industrial and metropolitan city.
