Drive to Njegusi, Snack in Njegusi. Njegusi is a village located on the slopes of Lovcen Mountain. It is best known as the birthplace of our most beloved poet, philosopher, ruler, and hero all in one - Petar II Petrovic Njegos. His home is open to all interested visitors and is entirely made of stone, reflecting traditional Montenegrin architecture. But that is still not everything. Njegusi will capture your heart through your belly. You can enjoy the unique taste of Njegus prosciutto and the best cheese in the world, Njegus cheese, along with some other homemade products. Visit of the Mausoleum and free time. When you reach the top of the stairs, you will find yourself at the second-highest peak of Lovcen, the famous "Black Mountain," from which Montenegro got its name.
