Stop 1

Following a morning pickup from your accommodation in Luoyang city center at your prearranged time, meet your private guide and hop aboard your air-conditioned vehicle. Heading directly to Longmen Grottoes.

Accompanied by your knowledgable tour guide to explore this UNESCO Site -The Longmen Grottoes comprise more than 2,300 caves and niches carved into the steep limestone cliffs over a 1km long stretch. Admire the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907).Then, take the boat cruise along the river to enjoy the grottoes in a different aspect.

After a delicious lunch in the local restaurant, you will explore the Ancient Culture Street. 

Start your walking tour from Drum tower which used to be the location announce time to the public. Now is a great place to see how Luoyang' market place used to be. Stroll around the old allays with your tour guide, explore the shops, taste different street food( on your own expense), your tour guide will offer suggestions on how to negotiate price and what to order.

Continue to the Lijing Gate which used to be the entrance to Luoyang Old Town. It was first built in Sui Dynasty (581-618) when Luoyang was the capital. Go up to the tower to tell your wish if you have, Chinese believe your wish will come true after paying here.

After your tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luoyang.
