Stop 1

Jeju Sangumburi Crater, Natural Monument No.263 (designated as 1979.06.18) The commonly said GumburI is Jeju tongue, which refers to the crater of volcanic edifice.

It has a round curved lining above or around the mountain, a horseshoe shaped like a hollow.

Regardless of its shape or size, we call it the GomburI, or Umburi depending on the region.

The best times to visit are October and November

2

This traditional village on Jeju Island has been preserved as it was in olden days with impressive piles of stones designed to protect roofs from the wind. The buildings have been designated important folk relics because these castles and homes that were built to prevent a Japanese invasion have remained intact the Joseon Dynasty.

Folk Village is optional.

Stop 3

UNESCO Heritage

(Including Women Diver Show)

This tuff cone formed when an underwater volcano erupted in the middle of the ocean. Seongsan Ilchulbong(Sunrise Peak) was designated National Monument No.40 in 2000 and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2007. The climb is steep, so please bring water and a handkerchief.

4

This place is a famous filming location for the Korean drama "All in." In the spring, there is magnificent coastal scenery and yellow ripe flowers, with the backdrop of Seongsan Ilchulbong(Sunrise Peak). In the fall, there is a romantic atmosphere when the wild flowers bloom and the gold reeds blow in the wind.

Seopjikoji can be replaced with Sangumburi on October and November

5

Located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Stone Park was inspired by Jeju's culture and applications of stones. The main theme focuses on the foundation and identity of Jeju Island, based on the myth of Seolmundae Halmang (Grandmother Seolmundae), who created Jeju Island and the stones of Obaek Janggun (Five Hundred Generals). The park serves as a historical and cultural space where collected stones respresent Jeju's foundation and culture.

6

This is the world's largest known lava tube created by volcanic activity. You can feel the magnificence of the landscape that resembles being inside an underground place. The especially exquisite Stone Turtle that resembles Jeju Island is particularly popular.

UNESCO Heritage Manjang Cave [UNESCO World Heritage] is presently closed for construction to prevent falls. It is slated to reopen in August 2025.
Throughout the construction phase, it will be substituted by 'Jeju Stone Park'
