This vast underground network, stretching 250km, was originally built during the Indochina War, connecting villages and serving as hideouts for revolutionary forces. The tunnels, with three levels ranging from 3m to 12m below ground, functioned as hiding spots, medical shelters, and military command centers.

Detailed itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel in the city center to depart for Cu Chi Tunnels.
Start your tour about a 1.5-hour drive from Saigon. Along the way, our guide will give you a brief introduction to the destination.
In addition, you will enjoy the scenery from the bustling city to the peaceful suburbs during the journey in our comfortable A/C Van.

Stop 2

Upon arrival, you will watch a short documentary film, showing how the tunnels were constructed. Then, discover specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. You will discover an incredibly secret network and crawl through the very narrow tunnels which are totally made by hand. This a special experience where you can try as a real Vietnamese Soldier in Wartime. Also, You will see many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels and learn more about the handmade weapons and traps.

Stop 3

Then, visiting rice paper workshop.
An indispensable experience when visiting Cu Chi Tunnels is to try shooting a real AK47 or M16 in a closely monitored area. This is the only licensed place in Ho Chi Minh City, an experience not common in other tourist destinations. There are always staff supervising and assisting the shooters and you will be provided with soundproof earplugs to protect your eardrums.
Finally, taste the boiled tapioca with hot pandanus tea and relax a little bit before end tour.

After finishing the tour, you will return to the vehicle and head back to Saigon.
