About this experience

This short stroll takes you from one of Lisbon's most famous cafés in Chiado to a history-packed square and on to the trendy Principe Real district with spectacular views of Lisbon from various points. Major landmarks include Largo do Carmo, Santa Justa Elevator, São Roque church, São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, Principe Real, Praça das Flores.

You'll learn about some of the key moments in Lisbon's rich history and see a range of Portuguese ceramics in bakeries, a former convent-turned-beer factory-turned restaurant and an extremely ornate church. Discover a collector's dream come true, a magnificent tree and a palace that is now a shopping centre.

The tour is ready whenever you are. It plays audio automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smart phone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline. Total walking distance is around 2 kms and can be completed within 30 minutes although the tour is designed to take half a day or longer.
