This fictional tour takes you back to the 7th of April 1590 and follows Anne Pedersdotter who has been condemned to burn at the stake, convicted a witch. Accompany her on her last walk through 16th century Bergen as she recounts the story of her demise. From the respected wife of a prominent priest and teacher, best friends with the Governor's wife, to being found guilty of witchcraft. Anne will guide you around Vågen, the fjord of Bergen, revealing the 16th century landmarks of this powerful fishing port. You will encounter the wooden houses of Bryggen, Lille Øvergaten, the oldest cobbled street in Bergen, and pass by the famous Fish Market on Strandkaien. She will bring you all the way to the Witches' Monument on the tip of Nordnes, the site of her execution.

Bryggen, the old wharf of Bergen, is a reminder of the town's significance as a feature of the Hanseatic League's trading empire from the 14th to the mid-16th century. Numerous fires have ravaged the trademark wooden houses of Bryggen.
The Holy Cross Church or Korskirken was built in the latter part of the 1100s. There have been numerous augmentations, reproductions and rebuilding efforts through the ages, frequently because of the many fires which have ravaged the church and town.
This street is now called Kong Oskar's Gate. It used to be where all the shoemakers worked and was known as Sutarestretet or shoemakers street.
