Villa Pehuenia is located on the shore of Lake Aluminé and framed by a forest of Araucarias (Pehuén in the Mapuche language). It is located 220 km from our city, and along the way we will also visit the town of Aluminé, bordering the river of the same name for almost 100 km of our route.
Already in Villa Pehuenia we will take a tour of its innumerable peninsulas and bays, to contemplate unique landscapes. This incipient Villa founded in the early 90s surprises with its delicate level of constructions in total harmony with its landscape, which has the particularity of offering us a pure forest of araucarias.
We will go up with the vehicle to the edge of the crater of the Batea Mahuida Volcano, almost 2000 meters above sea level, to contemplate the landscape from above and to have the possibility of walking to its high lagoon. Going down from the volcano we will go to La Angostura, which is a short river that joins the Aluminé and Moquehue lakes.
