On the small circuit tour, you'll get to explore the most popular temples on the tourist trail including Angkor Wat, Bayon, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm. We'll stop for lunch along the way and have plenty of time to visit the most significant temples at Angkor.
If you opt for the sunrise option, we'll come and get you very early in the morning. In some cases, your hotel may be able to provide a small packed breakfast as you'll be hungry. If not, we can stop for breakfast after seeing the sunrise. We'll start the tour with Angkor Wat and you'll spend a few hours walking around this huge complex.
Angkor Wat was built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II and was the most extravagant temple built by the ancient Khmer people. The Hindu temple unusual because most temples were dedicated to the Hindu, Shiva. However, Angkor Wat was dedicated to Vishnu. You have to get up early at 4:30am to see sunrise at Angkor Wat. You have to pack your breakfast and take a way to the temple. After seeing the view of sunrise you can have your breakfast next to Angkor Wat Temple.
Angkor Thom. At first we will start visit Bayon temple. It’s the highlight temple in the center of Angkor Thom City complex. There are 54 towers with 216 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokesvara at Bonyon temple and we continue to visit Elephant Terrace.
After you finished visiting all above temples in the morning around 12:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant next to Srang Srong.
Afterward, we continue to see few small temples inside Angkor Thom such as Baphon, Terrace of Elephant, and leper king before lunch time. Around 12:00pm, after discovering the above temples you will take to have lunch at the local restaurant nearby Srah Srong.
Ta Prohm temple which either call the jungle temple. It’s the place where Hollywood Film Company made a Movie called “Tom Raider”.
