El Bioparque La Reserva ofrece un moderno y novedoso sistema de exhibición. No es como ir a un zoológico en el que se observan animales a través de las jaulas; aquí se recurre a la inmersión, en la cual cada persona que ingresa a cada área entrará en contacto directo con los animales y plantas silvestres que allí se conservan.

El recorrido empieza a las 9:00 am. En este recorrido podrás visitar a través de senderos ecológicos seis representaciones ecosistemicas. Esto quiere decir que hay lugares adecuados para mostrar los diferentes ecosistemas de Colombia.
Mariposario colombiano (18 especies), Aviario tropical (19 especies de aves y 12 de reptiles), Humedal de la Sabana, Aviario Águila Harpía (donde vive el ave de presa mas poderosa del mundo: la temible pero pacífica Águila Harpía), Auditorio temático, exhibiciones de vuelos de aves rapaces, zona interactiva (con animales domésticos, reptiles y anfibios), tres senderos que atraviesan el bosque andino y parque infantil con novedosos juegos interpretativos que tienen como fin replicar los comportamientos de los animales silvestres. Como opción para los niños y sus padres también están disponibles los talleres ambientales.
