About this experience

Train “, a word that identifies the Mineiro as a whole and also the Locomotive, a means of transport that has marked the lives of many people. In this itinerary, we will have the unique opportunity to ride the only daily passenger train in Brazil. In this case, the locomotive is modern, the cars are luxurious, they came from Romania, with air conditioning, wi-fi, cafeteria cars and a restaurant, all the comfort on board. After this wonderful tour, we will continue by car or van to Bicame de Pedras, old aqueduct, starting point of the hike, a light stretch of 8 km, along the Diamond Route of Estrada Real to Conceição Church in Catas Altas, then lunch included in a restaurant with an excellent list of craft beers and an incredible view of Serra do Caraça. Afterwards, guided tour of Matriz, viewpoint for photos. Return to BH.

Boarding place for the train ride. Executive wagon, with air conditioning, comfortable. Departure from the station at 07:30. Included transfer from the hotel to the station. Trip duration 01:30.

Attractive location on Estrada Real, Caminho dos Diamantes, along with the Religious Path of Estrada Real. Beautiful place, with preserved aqueduct, beautiful view to take great photos of the Serra do Caraça, which is part of the Espinhaço Mountain Range. Beginning of our 8 km light walk enjoying a very cool view of the road, with the option of making the journey by car, in case you cannot do it for any reason, making this observation at the time of purchase of the experience.

We will travel 8 km of light stretch, enjoying an incredible view of the Serra do Caraça, which belongs to the Cordillera do Espinhaço, with the title of Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. You have the option to take the car ride, and the notice is mandatory when purchasing the experience.

We will visit this beautiful and imposing Church from the 18th century, located at Praça Monsenhor Mendes, the city's main square. In its rich interior, an artistic dazzle, with several stages of painting and gilding in Baroque style.

Small and simple and at the same time charming. Located in a lookout with beautiful views of the Serra de Catas Altas.
