About this experience

Qujiang District is the most scenic district in Xi’an city. Its night view is especially charming. This night view tour to Qujiang district covers three highlight places there: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, and Qujiang Pool Heritage Park. At 15:30 our guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby.

Stop 2

After hotel pickup, you will pay a visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In 652AD, Master Xuanzang held the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to keep the Buddhist sutras and figures he had brought from ancient India. In 2014, Big Wild Goose Pagoda was selected as a cultural heritage along Silk Road.

After visiting the pagoda, you will take a walk on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square. The square is a welcomed amusement place among local people. On the north square there is the large scale Music Fountain. From March to November, as long as the weather permits, the music fountain performed every day. And on the south square there are many statues which reflect local folk cultures.

When the evening comes, you will be escorted to Qujiang Pool Heritage Park. Qujiang Pool was the famous scenic area in the Tang Dynasty. The pool lies at the southeast of Chang’an City and it was the most popular amusement spot among rich and well-educated gentry. In the evening, the surrounding area look much more pretty with lighting effects.

After the sightseeing finished, you will be escorted back to hotel by 21:00.
