Private Tour: One Day Hukou Waterfall Tour From Xian<br/>Pickup included
Our driver will pick you up from your Xian downtown hotel lobby at some 7:00 am, and drive to the destination, along which you will see the Loess Plateau, a kind of special landscapes of North Shaanxi Province. After 3-4 hrs of driving, you will arrive at Hukou Waterfall to see Yellow River's marvelous scenery. It is the 2nd largest waterfall in China, and is next only to the Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province.
The Yellow River bed here suddenly shrinks from some 300 meters to around 50 meters, girdling the pools of the Yellow River water into a narrow gorge and rushing abruptly down from some 30 meters high into the gorge below, while the torrential water runs along a water-channel of some five kilometers long to the lower reaches. As the water-channel looks much like the mouth of a pot, hence the derivation of the name "Hukou" means "mouth of a pot" in Chinese. After the tour you will be back to your Xian downtown hotel around 9 pm. Please prepare some food because it is not easy to find a good restaurant in Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area.
After the sight seeing, we will drive back to your hotel.
