About this experience

This tour is ideal choice for group that have less than 3 people and stay in hotel close to Metro station. Taking the Metro to North Xian Station and then take the bullet train to and from Mt. Huashan to save transportation cost and make the traveling more like a local people. Taking a fast train from Xi’an and leave your footprint on the mountain top. While if your group is bigger than 5 people, we advise you to choose the private transfer to and from Mt. Huahsan because for a bigger group the private transfer will be the same or less than taking the bullet train.

Detailed itinerary

Your English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an at 07:00am and take the Metro to North Xian Station where you will take the bullet train to Mt. Huashan.

The train riding will take about 30 minutes. And after getting off the train you will take a taxi to Mt. Huashan Scenic Area.

We will firstly take a shuttle bus to North Peak Cable Car station and then take a cable car to the North Peak. At the North peak, you will have some free time to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. On the top of the mountain, there are some famous attractions including the Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures and engravings. Your guide will provide detailed information in advance and you will have a great time hiking and exploring the four peaks on your own.

Our tour guide will meet you at the North Peak at about 16:30 and take the cable car down from the mountain together.

Then you will take the taxi to Huashan Bei Station and take the bullet train back to Xi’an. The guide will escort you back to hotel at around 19:00 by Metro.

Please prepare some food and water for lunch. There is no restaurant on mountain top and price here is much more expensive than in normal shops.

• It is the high peak season for Huashan from June to October especially during the public holidays. Please expect during that time it is very crowded and needs long time queue under big sun at Mt. Huashan, you are suggested to avoid these times to visit here or please contact the local supplier to ask advice.
