About this experience

The Everlasting Sorrow Show was written by Bai Juyi, a notable poet in the Tang Dynasty. It tells a moving love story between Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine Yang Yuhuan, who is regarded as one of the Four Beauties in ancient China. This tour will take you to enjoy the fabulous water stage performance adapted by the famous poem. The live show, taking the famous Mt. Lishan as stage background, perfectly revives the glory and doom of the Tang Dynasty, along with Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Yuhuan’s grief at separation and joy in union.
