This tour will take you to enjoy the fabulous water stage performance that adapted from Tang poet Baijuyi's renowned poem: Song of Everlasting Sorrow. The performance shows vicissitudes of life between Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine Lady Yang, who is regarded as one of the Four Beauties in ancient China. Before the show, you will appreciate and taste delicate set meal with different cultural meaning in a Qin style restaurant while listening the beautiful traditional music. You will also have a chance to dress like Qin Dynasty people and take pictures, absorbing yourselves in the atmosphere as if back to Qin period.

The driver and English-speaking guide will meet you at your downtown hotel lobby at 5pm. First we head to the distinctive restaurant to experience Qin Culture and try some delicious local food. The restaurant is decorated in the Qin Dynasty style and eaters will put on the Qin Dynasty costume when having the meal. The ceremony throughout the dining process is a special feature of the banquet, which imitates imperial cuisine with individual serving. While enjoying the delicious meal, customers will appreciate the dance of Qin Dynasty performed by actors dressed in Qin costume, and also Chinese traditional classic music. Meantime, waiters will introduce the allusion of each dish. The carefully-prepared Qin style dishes are unique. Each dish is not very heavy, but very delicate with abundant variety, and suitable for guests who want to feel the culture of local food. In addition, there’s also opportunity to dress in famous Qin and Han costumes. Standing in the remote places and seemingly remote dynasty, take precious photo to record and keep for a lifetime.
After the delicious meal, we get to Huaqing Palace (Please note ticket for the show doesn't allow you to visit Huaqing Hot Spring. The ticket is just for Everlasting Sorrow Performance). If you arrive at Huaqing Palace earlier, you could take a walk on the square opposite to Huaqing Palace where you could see the night leisure life of local people, and also stroll at the street for local crafts. Soon it will be time to appreciate the open air stage performance: Song of Ever Lasting Sorrow. It is integrated with dancing, colorful costumes, acrobatics, original music, LED video, laser, fantasy and other forms of performance. Each chapter of the performance repeats what had happened in different time of Xuanzong Era in the Tang Dynasty, and the soul-touching love story between two characters .
After the show, you will be transferred back to your hotel at about 22:00.
Special note: The Everlasting Regret Show is only performed in the evening from April 1st through October 31st. It's not available in winter days.
