Detailed itinerary

1

Your English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an at 8:30am and arrive to the mountain around 10:30am. First, take a shuttle bus and then a cable car to the North Peak or West Peak which is up to you own interest and physical condition. Afterwards, you will really get to the mountain top to start the exciting hiking. Your guide will provide detailed information in advance and you will enjoy your own hiking time. When you finish all the peaks (or if you just want to take some pictures and appreciate the awesome scenery but not do much hiking, it's totally fine), you will go to the appointed peak to meet guide and take the cable car and shuttle bus together to go to the mountain top.

2

There are 3 different routes to go through those peaks of Mt. Huashan, you can freely choose based on your own expectation and physical condition. Just tell our guide which option you prefer and he/she will help you to buy admission tickets. Here are instructions of the 3 routes:

Route A: Cable car ascend to/descend from North Peak
-- The cheapest option but require a good physical stamina if you want to cover all peaks.

Route B: Cable car ascend to/descend from West Peak
-- The most expensive option as cable car from/to West Peak covering longest distance to allow you the minimum walking. Also, it has the best views at the West Peak.

Route C: Cable car ascend to West Peak, descend from North peak by cable car
-- A nice option if you are not that full of energy but still want to cover all peaks (with medium cost and hiking).

3

Along the way of hiking, you will have chance to encounter those famous seeing points. You will visit some Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures and engravings on the peaks. When you pass the Gold Lock Pass, you can buy a golden lock and lock it on the iron chains at the Gold Lock Pass which should bring you safety and health. Imagine the marvelous scenery of thousands of golden locks on the iron chains. On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), you can experience its special atmosphere in person especially the amazing sunset if weather permits. You will also have opportunity to experience those steep stairs.

After the adventure, meet your guide at the appointed peaks (West Peak or North Peak) and go to mountain foot together. Around 5pm the driver will wait for you at the exit gate of mountain and then transfer you back to your hotel in Xi'an downtown.
